Car rental delivery to a Manila hotel: what to arrange first

‘Deliver it to my hotel’ sounds simple. It works much better when the hotel, the renter and the vehicle representative all know the plan. A lobby address alone leaves too much to sort out at the last minute.
Check with the hotel before booking delivery
Ask the front desk where an outside provider may conduct a vehicle handover. The entrance may be for short drop-offs, with a different area needed for an inspection. Check whether parking charges apply and who will pay them.
Give the provider the exact hotel name, address and agreed meeting point. This is especially useful when a hotel brand has several properties. Avoid sharing your room number unless the hotel’s own process requires it through an appropriate channel.
Put delivery terms in writing
Confirm the delivery fee, the time window, any waiting charge and the point at which rental billing begins. If you are arriving from the airport, allow for the time needed to reach the hotel and check in.
Ask how a delay will be communicated. Do not assume reception can accept a car, sign a rental agreement or hold a deposit on your behalf.

Inspect before using valet parking
Complete the vehicle inspection with the provider first, and retain your own photos and paperwork. Ask both the rental provider and hotel how valet use is handled; do not assume every agreement permits the same arrangements.
For a longer hotel stay, compare overnight parking with a longer-term parking arrangement. Check vehicle height restrictions if you are considering an SUV or van.
Arrange the return before departure day
Tell the provider your checkout plans and leave enough time for a joint inspection. Agree where the keys will be handed over and how return acknowledgment will be provided. Leaving keys at reception without prior agreement can create confusion over when the rental ended.
